India marked its 75th Independence Day on 15 August 2021. Global celebrations for the anniversary were formally launched with 75 weeks of festivities. Supported by DFAT, the Australia India Chamber of Commerce will be staging a conference and gala dinner to come together in a shared commemoration.

AICC CHARITY

The AICC is pleased to support ASHA charity, through the event. Asha, meaning ‘hope’ in Hindi, has been transforming lives and helping the slum dwellers of Delhi since 1988. Led by Dr Kiran Martin through the charity, now over 700,000 residents in 95 slum colonies have access to essential medical care and treatment.
