Unity, Diversity and Community Cohesion are a priority of our government.

 

I commend the Indian Diaspora in Australia, the second largest diaspora community according to the recent Census, for its significant contribution o the rich business, cultural and people-to-people ties between our countries.

 

I was pleased to recently be able to support an event in Sydney to mark India's 75 years of independence and our 75 years of diplomatic relations. These events are an important way to bring to the public attention the important of the bilateral relationship between our two countries. I look forward to our government continuing a productive relationship with Gandhi Creations and IABCA.
