Professor Jane den Hollander AO has most recently retired from full time work, as Vice-Chancellor at Deakin University. At Deakin, Professor den Hollander introduced LIVE the future, an aspiration for Deakin to drive the digital frontier in higher education, harnessing the power, opportunity and reach of new and emerging technologies in all that it does.

Professor den Hollander was a board member of Universities Australia, Education Australia Limited, and UniSuper, a member of the Advisory Board of the Office of Learning and Teaching, and a trustee of the Geelong Performing Arts Council.

From 2005–2008, den Hollander was a Board member of Graduate Careers Australia, and from 2008–2011 on the Board of the Australian Learning and Teaching Council.

In 2017 den Hollander was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia for distinguished service to tertiary education through a range of executive administration and advisory roles, as a supporter of professional educational organizations, and to the community.
Natasha is currently General Manager, Newland Global Group, a leading corporate advisory firm with a key focus on the India – Australia trade and investment space based in Sydney. Natasha has 12 years of Indian Parliament (Lok Sabha) experience, where her work revolved around analysis – communication – advocacy of important federal government policies, which are of national and international relevance. She has had excellent and deep exposure to the Indian legislative process. She has been part of Indian Parliament delegations to national and international conferences (SAARC, ASEAN, BRICS, National Legislators Conference).
Tarang is the founder of the Not One More Niki campaign to end violence against women, following the murder of his 23-year-old sister, Nikita, in 2015. Tarang advises the government, corporate and community sectors on human-centred responses to men’s violence against women. His work has increased Australia’s understanding of the judicial shortcomings, policy failings and cultural attitudes that have led to male violence being a leading cause of death and disability for Australian women under 45.. Tarang is a 2017 Young Australian of the Year Finalist, recipient of the University of Melbourne Rising Star Award for young alumni and named in the Top 25 Most Influential People working for social change by Pro Bono Australia. Tarang is a regular commentator on gender equality, racism, discrimination, Australia-India relations and political affairs.
In 2014, Margaret Hepworth founded The Gandhi Experiment, an education initiative bringing Gandhi’s principles of Ahimsa, teaching non-violence as a conscious choice, Satyagraha, taking committed, positive action, into schools and organisations across Australia and India. Since its inception, The Gandhi Experiment’s workshops in Global Citizenship, Leadership Within, Conflict Resolution, Forgiveness, and ‘Almost Impossible have reached over 5,000 students and teachers. She was also invited by Rupa Publications, India, to showcase her work, Margaret authored the book, 'The Gandhi Experiment – Teaching our teenagers how to become global citizens with the deliberate intent that this work in teaching non-violence can be accessed globally.
Elena has been working as the Chief Executive Officer of the Indian national hockey federation since over eight years. Elena came to India over a decade ago and has had a vision for the development of sports irrespective of gender and economic background. She has stood tall against many challenges and has worked hard to make Hockey India one of the countries most professionally run national sports federations. Under her leadership the federation has hosted several international prestigious events raising global standards, including the recently concluded Odisha Hockey Mens World Cup in December 2018.
Sonali a doctor from India, became the first female police officer of Indian heritage in Victoria Police in 2005 and is currently serving as a Detective Sergeant at Professional Standards Command. Alongside policing, Sonali successfully held a secondary employment as a bi-lingual health educator with Multicultural Centre for Women’s Health where she empowered immigrant and refugee women nationwide through health education and provided leadership, advocacy and training to community organisations. Through both employments, Sonali plays a role that demonstrates a duty to serve the community through decisions and conduct which reflects the community expectation that of treating all people with dignity and respect and in all instances, exercising discretion fairly and transparently. In over 12 years of her police career, Sonali has performed duties to an extremely high standard at various dynamic areas of Victoria Police such as Uniform policing, Divisional Investigations Unit, Sexual Offences and Child Abuse.

Ashok joined Infosys in 2004 to lead the telco, media, and entertainment business and has held numerous industry and sales leadership roles, before taking up the Regional COO role for delivery and operations across Australia and New Zealand in 2014.

Melanie Jones is a former Australian Cricketer who played in a dominating era of cricket. This included winning two World
Cups, two Ashes series and many world series while juggling a teaching career and cricket development initiatives in Australia, South Africa and England. However, it has been her devotion to the game post career that has seen Mel transform her leadership. In 2015 after becoming one of the four first-ever female commentators to be included in the Indian Premier League (IPL), the world’s most attended and watched cricket league, Mel moved into sports commentary full-time. Continuing to break down barriers, Mel’s inclusion into the men’s and women’s Big Bash broadcasting team, led her to become the first female cricket lead in the T20 format in Australia.

She has spearheaded the development of a broad program of cross-functional innovative solutions for profitability and productivity of Australia’s $60 billion agriculture industry. Her high impact science and exceptional industry engagement has led to two commercially focused innovations namely “BioClay for non-GM and non-Toxic environmentally sustainable crop protection;, and ‘Clonal propagation of avocado using plant stem cells’.

The Australia India Youth Dialogue (AIYD) [see: www.aiyd.org] is the leading Track II bilateral young leaders annual conference. Today, in its eighth year, AIYD was born during a time when the diplomatic ties between the two countries had plunged to abysmal depths, on the back of attacks against Indian (international) students studying in Australia during May 2009.

The company has created the Smart Inclining Bed, which converts any bed into a hospital-bed for 10% of the price.

Mack Valves is an 80 year old Australian icon that manufactures specialist valves including defence and cryogenic valves. In 2014 Mack invested in a manufacturing facility in India. Mack employs disadvantaged women in India to help foster financial independence for its team whilst also facilitating higher quality output. Mack designed a smarter cryogenic valve for the global industry that uses a QR code to allow maintenance and operations teams to access information for each unique valve at site.
